This is Emmet's favorite blanket in the whole world. He is literally obsessed with his blanky. He plays with it, naps with it, and ALWAYS has it in his tubby little hand dragging behind him as he walks/crawls or whatever! It's really sweet because it was also his blessing blanket :) We can't blame him though it's super soft and light...perfect for peek-a-boo and for dragging through the entire house (sometimes I wish it wasn't white!!!). Well, now that he's a big boy he plays peek-a-boo all by himself, even when no one is playing with him...nutty boy :)

Mr. Muscles
Well, Emmet has always been strong. We knew it from the first time we felt him kick inside my belly! Even the first day he was born he could support his head and look around. So, it's no wonder that he is already standing up on his own and walking like crazy. The funny thing is that he actually has muscles you can see! Ryan and I were dying laughing one day as he was just standing watching TV and you could see as he moved around the definition in his little thighs and calves! Ryan, of course, is very proud of his strong little man! But have you ever seen a little baby have quad muscles!?
"Like my hat!?"
I was looking for something for Em to play with while I was fixing dinner and I found his cute little GAP hat. I was surprised he kept it on and even more so that he smiled with his teeth! Lately he has this closed mouth grin like he's trying to hide them. He must be shy ;)
Have I ever mentioned that Emmet is "kinda" temperamental? Well, here's proof...happy ...then "HUH!?"...then happy again...crazy boy!
Oh, but we love our big brown-eyed boy! He definitely keeps us entertained!

Mini walker!
Here's our miniature man practicing his new acquired skill! He's getting faster and faster as the days go by! Of course, he walks his best when we aren't really paying that close attention and the camera is off...but you get the idea :)It makes me so nervous to have him walk on the hard tile, but he's gotta learn somehow! Next thing on our agenda is finding some shoes and having him learn to walk in those! His feet are so little though...I think he still wears a size two! We're so excited to be posting videos that I'm sure there are LOTS more to come...and soon! So, be on the lookout! And Leslie, if you're reading this HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Begging for Ice cream!
Emmet is such a little snacker. We had just fed him lunch and he saw that Ryan had a bowl of ice cream and had to have what dad was having. Of course, Ryan gave him a little bite, but Emmet got a taste of something he liked!!! I wouldn't say he was throwing a fit, but he was definitely letting dad know he wanted MORE....NOW!!! Hahaha!

Emmet walking
We finally figured out how to post a video for everyone to see our little guy walking! He can walk clear across the room and back again, backwards, and even sidestep! He barely crawls anymore, I can't believe that he's getting so big so fast! He gets distracted easily so it's a quick clip! Haha! Enjoy!!!
One more month.....
Today I am 34 weeks and 2 days and I am officially sick of being pregnant! I'm almost to the point of having Ryan give me the c-section (ok not really, but I wish I could get this guy out like NOW). It's getting really impossible to do anything now that I'm so big, I really don't think I have anymore room left in this body of mine. I'm really nervous about the c-section and especially about having it done in a foreign country, but it will be so worth it when I can actually move around without a waddle and see my feet again! I can barely hold little Emmet so Ryan, being the great dad that he is, has really stepped up and has helped me out tremendously. Bless his heart :) Haha! But since he has had Emmet more than usual, Emmet now ONLY wants his dad. It's actually really funny and me and Ryan joke about him being the favorite parent....only I have to admit sometimes it kind of hurts my feelings :( Aren't all little boys supposed to love and prefer their moms!? But I know it's for the best right now. I mean I can't physically be there for him all the time. It's uncomfortable for the both of us. As soon as I get Emmet on my lap Weston starts kicking at him to get out of his space and Emmet starts squirming because he's sitting on a hard rock! I can't win! On the positive side of things Ryan and I are really getting excited about Weston getting here as well as both of our mom's coming down to visit and help out. It seems like just a few months ago we got Emmet and now he's walking! I'm also really excited to have two boys so close in age. I hope they'll be really close so they can have a buddy while we're moving around the states. In the mean time I'm crossing my fingers for this last month to fly by!!!
