PINK :)

About a week ago I had my hair trimmed and highlighted and the girl who does my hair had this really fun HOT PINK streak in her hair (her hair is almost black so the contrast was too cool). So I kept thinking next time I'm going to do that because I was SO coveting her hair! Well, my smart husband was like..."why wait two months...just call her and get back in..." so I did! I think now I'm hooked. She almost has me talked in to going platinum blonde with pink....I dunno...time will tell! Although, I am feeling a little more crazy! It was bound to come out again! Ryan's thinking..."GREAT!" My hair soap opera will never end....
And to Kendra...I know I told you not to touch your gorgeous red hair and streak it with blue....my hairdresser concurs! You don't mess with perfection...and that red hair is a rarity! DON'T TOUCH IT!

What do you think!?!?!?!?

First day at the beach...

Yesterday was one of those days that we just needed to get out of the house and get some fresh air, so we bundled up and headed out to the beach. It was the warmest day we've had in quite awhile...a whopping 25 degrees (BRRR...as Emmet would say) and super sunny. The boys LOVED being outside waddling around the beach in their snow gear and chasing seagulls. This definitely isn't the Cayman Islands, though! I can't wait for spring to be here so we can spend more time out there, it's so beautiful.

On our way out to the beach it got pretty bright out and Emmet REFUSED to move! He was screaming "Mama, Eyes...OWWW!" LOL! Luckily Ryan left his shades in our car so we made a trip back and grabbed them and then all was well...Emmet and his shades! LOL!

Wes has been feeling pretty crummy the last few days. He's getting his last molar in and this fun little outing lifted his spirits a little :) Poor, baby.

Emmet was searching for seashells...well, maybe hermit crabs because he kept lifting the shells and turning them over to see what was inside. He didn't forget our little home in the islands yet!!! And..how funny to find shells in the snow!?

I just want to smooch all over this little guy! He is the cutest thing!

My little penguins wandering around...

Meee! Sorry, no makeup! What can I say, I'm a stay at home mom!

Wes, following his big brother...

I think this is my favorite picture. I love Em's small profile next to the big ocean and the light reflecting on the water is gorgeous! One day I'll get myself a really nice camera so I can learn more about photography! I LOVE taking pictures! As evident to all the pictures I'm posting!!!

Emmet was SO close to touching these seagulls...you'll get 'em next time bud!

A little about me...

I never really post anything about myself...and this was fun to take. I vow from here on out to post more about myself, though. I want my boys to know more about their mom when we show them this when their older. Plus, it will be fun for me to look back at how I was in this stage of my life.

Some of the things I love...

My boys are in the sweetest stage right now. They are wanting to play together all day and for the most part get along really really well. Emmet has been great about sharing his snacks, bringing Weston toys, and now he's started trading him something in order to get what Weston has...what a smartie...I didn't teach him that one! Way to compromise, Em :) Don't get me wrong..he can still be plenty ornery and puts his time in on the "time out" bench, but these sweet moments make me forget all those nasty ones...momentarilly anyway :)

These boys have to have everything the same...at the same time...

A bite for you...

And a bite for me!

My little movie watchers sharing their nightly bowl of popcorn...

They are growing up too fast (tear!)...

I absolutley LOVE this picture...you can just see the bond these two stinkers have...so precious! If only I could crop myself out! Eek!

Why yes, that is my 2 year old BOY sporting his mama's heels one day after church...LOL. I am impressed that he walked so well in them and even had them on the right feet, w/out any help!

Love this goof ball :)

Emmet is getting so cute. He'll just climb up on the couch make himself comfortable and watch a movie...what a good kid! I bet you can guess what movie this is! I bet you can't guess how many times I've watched it in the last week!

These cereal straws are the best thing ever! Lately I've had a real struggle with getting Em to drink milk. All he wants is juice and I practically have to force milk down his throat (ok, not really). I didn't think he'd really get the whole concept of a snack/straw idea but he caught right on. He'll drink a whole glass of milk and eat atleast 3 of these straws in one sitting. They have lots of different flavors too. I'd seen them in the store and thought they were dumb...man was I wrong! These are our new house hold staple!

Wes likes to smoke his like a cigar ;) and....he'll eat ANYTHING!

SO happy!

Wes is getting so big and is starting to play with cars like Emmet and it is so cute! He makes the car sounds and everything! They're new fave thing to do together is find a bigger car, that they can push, and chase each other around the house racing their cars. Oh, it is so funny and they just laugh hysterically when they crash into the wall or each other. The only problem is Weston thinks he can put ALL his weight on the car while he pushes...the cars aren't big enough and he doesn't have the greatest balance (he walks like he's drunk half the time!) and has been face implanting when he gets going too fast. He just shoots himself over the car and he has about 4 big nasty bruises all over his poor forehead. The other day we were at Target and I found this pretty cheapy car you can ride on or push and it solved all our problems! I knew I loved Target! Needless to say he is SO happy and better yet his poor goose eggs can heal!
