More "feesh"
Emmet and Weston LOVE the aquarium! I honestly can't count how many times we've been there! Thank goodness for indoor places like these to beat those boring winter days!
I love the hands on tanks they have. It's so fun for the kids to be able to touch the animals!
Emmet's expressions are hilarious! He kept saying: "Check it out, Mama! Check it out!" and " Follow me!"
And of course he had to help me take pictures of all the animals he saw...and then make sure it was a good picture afterwards! Little nut!
Emmet's impersonation of a blowfish :)
Wes and dad getting a closer look at all the pretty "feesh!"
The turtles exhibit is one of our faves!
Telling us all about the turtles :)
These are the petting tanks...you're not really supposed to pick them up...haha. The workers were so nice though and just let Emmet go at them! They were laughing hysterically at Emmet's facial expressions!
We visited this spot multiple times! Couldn't get enough of those starfish!
I promise I was there! Haha! Checking out the big tanks with Weston.
Looking at the baby turtles. They were SO cute.
My handsome boys posing with the crocodile.
Emmet was telling Wes all about the sharks!
We knew it was time to go when they started playing in the photo booth! A quick trip to Mcdonald's and then it was nap time! LOVE family days!
Just some randoms...
My handsome boy is getting so big :(
Wes...such a nut. Definitely our 'free spirit.' Loves to dress himself (ok, mostly undress himself!)
Emmet is such a sweetheart and the BEST big brother. Always so organized and responsible :) Don't be fooled though...he is still a huge goof!
Right after a GREAT nap! ...and he has M&M's. Doesn't get much better than that!
We have way too many cars in our house! These babies are lined up around the whole house...
...and then they walk them...like this :) Boys!

Grandpa Ras pays a visit!
It had been WAY too long since we've seen Grandpa Rasmussen, so it was such a treat his job brought him through Tulsa! It was only for the evening but it was so great to see him and the boys loved every minute of his visit!
Let me just say our boys never, I mean NEVER sit and pose for pictures! Grandpa Ras has the touch!
See what I mean!
Of course the boys had to show off how cute they can be and hugged for praise from all of us! Haha!
So glad we could catch up, if even for a night! The boys had a blast!
Christmas '09
This year was our first Christmas, as our own little family...ever! We really missed being away from family but it was also special to spend it with just the four of us. I just have to thank our families for making it so special for us and our boys! We were beyond spoiled and had tons of gifts shipped from home to make our holiday a little more sweet :) I can't thank everyone enough! We have the most thoughtful, generous, supportive families! LOVE and MISS you all!

Trying to get organized...
It's been a little too long since I've last blogged! The boys have been keeping me super busy, we celebrated our first Thanksgiving ALL together since having Em and Wes (crazy I know...we've spent the last two with Ryan in the Cayman Islands and me home with one of our families!), My mom and dad came for a visit, and Weston celebrated his 2nd birthday!
It was so great to have my mom and dad here...I hadn't seen them since June! Hate having to be so far away from family :( Can't wait to be close again!
Ryan also gave me an awesome Christmas present this year (which we agreed NO presents...not that I'm complaining :) A Canon REBEL! LOVE it!!! SO..while I get organized here are some fun new pics I took of the boys a little before Christmas!!! I'll be back to blogging as soon as I get it all the way I want it! Late Merry Christmas and Have a Happy New Year!!!!

Growing up :(
Where'd my baby go?
We bought Wes this toddler bed a couple months ago because he started getting out of his crib, but when I tried to put him down in it he would just scream, shake, and immediately jump out! Well, today I was washing/drying the boys bedding and he wanted to go down for a nap early...he even started falling asleep on me. So, I tried putting him in his big boy bed. He must've been super tired because he just layed down, sprawled out, and gave me a big smile (eyes half closed!)! What a sweetie :)

Uncle Evan and Sara got this elephant, "Ellie," for Wes on his 1st birthday...we don't go anywhere without it!

Doesn't he look so big :( Can't believe he'll be two in less than a month!

Happy Halloween!
This year was our boys first "official" Halloween with the costumes and trick or treating! Emmet was a scary dragon and Wes was a super cute lion. We had our friends Tommy and Chrissy over and their adorable kiddos Tag and Bella. Ryan's med school buddy Chase came over too, he's always lots of fun. Between all the boys Chrissy and I were in stitches the whole night! Haha! We had a yummy dinner (that I borrowed from Ryan's mom :)) of cheesy bread bowl soup, and baked ziti for the kids. I was pretty excited about having Halloween so of course I made way to many treats...!

Roar!

Emmet loved growling at people...he's been practicing all month :)

Let's just say Wes wasn't digging his costume! He's one that loves to be free...er naked!!

Here's some of the treats I made: Yummy punch, caramel snicker apples, mini-cupcakes, and a cheeseball (my fave)..not too mention Chrissy brought the most delicious oreo cookie balls....I stole a bunch and had them the next morning for breakfast! After that I chucked all the candy and treats (or whatever I couldn't pawn off on our guests...) because we were all so sick from all the junk!!!

All the cute trick or treaters raring to go!!! Thank goodness for the warm weather, it was such a perfect night!

Chrissy the leopard and me...Kat Von D!

The guys....no costumes...BOOOO! ;)

Ryan was feeling the Halloween vibe :)

Oh, Wes...what are we going to do with you!? He doesn't like to be apart of the pack...he wanted to run into the street and play with the Halloween decor in everyone's yards! Such a turkey!

A Ninja, Bride, Dragon, and Lion....what a group!

No one had the courage to knock on that first door! Ha! Emmet made a rookie mistake and just walked in to the people house...haha! After that though they all did great! I was so proud of Emmet he caught on so quickly and always thanked everyone after he took candy! What a pro!

Weston roaming the neighborhood...

Emmet checking out the goods!

A quick break to play :)

We were out for almost 2 hours and the boys were so tired we had to carry them home! Such a fun Halloween! Thanks for coming everyone!!
