Our day at the Tulsa Zoo!

This weekend we took the boys to the zoo here in Tulsa and had THE best time! Emmet and Wes jabbered a hundred miles a minute about all neat animals! It was so cute! Their favorite exhibits by far were the monkeys and the "feesh" aquariums. Hahaha! It was so funny watching them put their faces up to the glass and make monkey sounds at all the monkeys! It was a super hot day at about 90 degrees (dumb weather forecast said it would be cloudy! BOO!) but we still had lots of fun even with the nasty sweat rolling down our faces! The boys were troopers, like usual, and handled the heat better than I did! We ate a yummy (expensive!) lunch there and then finished our day taking a ride on the train! Needless to say Emmet and Wes were in heaven! They kept yelling "Choo Choo" and making the motion of honking a horn! I love boys! Hahaha! We bought a year pass so we'll be spending lots of time at the zoo! I'm so excited because it was beautiful, huge, and had lots of fun parks surrounding it! Doesn't get better than that!

Gorgeous scenery all over the place...I love how green it is here. Not at all what I was expecting!

My poor boys enduring the summer heat!

Me and my boys...they're getting so big!

We were lucky to see lots of animals in this heat wave! I sure would be hiding out!

My goofy boys! They had lots of cool mosaic artwork all over the place. I loved it, totally my kind of thing!

Strolling through the chimp and reptile observatory.

I let the boys loose and they had a ball climbing and getting a real close look at all the fish! They saw lots of "Nemo" fish, as they would say. Emmet was such a goof, he would put his fingers up to all the fish mouths and act like they were biting him...and pull his finger away really quickly. Hahaha! Oh, Em :)

Weston doesn't miss a thing :)

I saw this sign on every exhibit...freaked me out a bit!

More pretty mosaic stuff and I love flamingos!

...and I love zebra!

Final destination...the train! Yay! The boys were too busy looking at all the fun stuff to take a good picture! Oh well!

See ya next weekend, Zoo!

Back in Wa. for a month...

Warning: Picture Overload!

We spent the whole month of June back in Wa. and had the best time! We got to see family, old best friends, and lots of new cousins! I haven't blogged for awhile so I'm hoping the pictures will do the talking for me! I couldn't post all of my pictures but I put on lots and lots! I wish I would've taken more! I hope you enjoy! A big thanks to both our families for all the great memories and for putting up with us for a heck of a long time! We love you all!!!! (Pictures are backwards...)

Two of the goofiest and toothiest guys I know :)

These two guys are so much alike...it's nuts! They are both so goofy and silly all day long and always make me laugh! And look at those toothy grins! I love how I can see every tooth in their head, they smile so wide! What a lucky girl I am to be surrounded by all these lovey, handsome guys!

Emmet is finally wanting to smile for the camera....even though sometimes he looks pained in the process :) I think he's just making sure he says "cheese!" right.

Enjoying some sun!

Yesterday had to be one of the most perfect days! It's been cold here for months and weeks on end, and yesterday it finally got up to 86 degrees without a cloud in they sky! After the boys naps we took them out to the beach and just let them run and run....it was heaven! Emmet had the best time waiting for the waves to reach his feet saying "Here it comes," and then he would take off running right before it got to his toes...laughing hysterically the whole time! It was so cute :) He did this for two hours...straight! Wes loved running and chasing the seagulls and splashing in the water. I was so surprised he got in the water because lately he's been terrified of anything besides the bathtub. When the tide would reach him he would cling on to Ryan for dear life, but he never made a peep! It must have really tired them out because the next morning they slept in until 8:30! (We are always up by 6:30!) I wish we could have more days like these!

Soaking up some sun!

This is the face of pure bliss!

Jumping all over the beach...such a little ham :)

After this we had a yummy dinner and took our daily 4 mile walk down to the pier! I love lazy towns like this!
